- ➤ On Saturday night, Santa Clarita police arrested two men after they stole over $1,000 in merchandise from a Canyon Country sporting goods store on the 26500 block of Carl Boyer Drive and identified them as 32-year-old Andrew Hernandez from Parker, Arizona and 38-year-old Kishore Welch from Van Nuys—both now face charges of felony grand theft and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. - ➤ Deputies broke up an unruly house party on the 30800 block of The Old Dirt Road—east of Sierra Highway and Vasquez Way—Friday after reports of loud music and underage drinking, and they arrested a 43-year-old man on suspicion of obstructing a peace officer and furnishing alcohol to a minor as well as a 40-year-old woman on similar charges.
