ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • Off-duty deputy Daniel V. Chavira, 21, was fatally injured after falling asleep at the wheel while returning from a double shift when his vehicle crashed with others on San Francisquito Canyon Road on Monday at 3:17 p.m.—he died at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital while four others, including two minors, were treated for injuries.  The Santa Clarita Valley Signal

  • Graduation ceremonies for Santa Clarita Valley schools marking the end of the 2024–25 school year have already been held at Master’s University on May 9 and Golden Oak Adult School on May 20—upcoming events include Learning Post on May 23 at Canyon High School Performing Arts Center, Santa Clarita Christian School on May 24, and several others through June 6.  SCVNews.com
