Family Art Studio at the Skirball: City of Light Lanterns

About this event

The Skirball's Family Art Studio glows up for the holidays with City of Light Lanterns. Kids create paper houses and buildings that turn into glowing lanterns.

Take your lantern home to brighten a windowsill, or add it to the communal city of light that grows all season long. It's a cozy, easygoing activity for winter break, and families can drop in anytime during their visit.

Make a day of it with the Inventing America: The Comic Book Revolution exhibition, the Discovery Center, and the weekend Archaeology Dig, all included with admission. Noah's Ark is also on site and requires a timed-entry ticket.
