Written and performed by Melissa Greenspan, B+ MOM: An Enthusiastic Guide to Imperfect Parenting follows a mother facing a milestone she has spent years preparing for but still cannot quite accept: her daughter is graduating and leaving for college. Armed with years of collected advice, practical wisdom, family memories, and a frantic desire to make one final moment meaningful, she attempts to record everything her daughter might need to know before adulthood begins.
Directed by Guy Picot, the solo comedy approaches motherhood with warmth, anxiety, humor, and an embrace of imperfection, finding something universal in the difficult moment when parenting shifts from holding on to letting go. The production closes Wednesday, November 4 at 7:30PM.
