- ➤ Clint Lilley from Santa Clarita won Best Western Short Film for his film ‘The Geisha and The Gunfighter’ in October at the Independent Shorts Awards – his film also was named runner-up for Best Short of the Season and earned Platinum awards for Western Short and Actor. - ➤ Santa Clarita residents seeking a quirky holiday outing can attend the immersive A Christmas Carol Cocktail Experience on Dec. 18 and 19 at the Grand Annex Music Hall in San Pedro—this 90-minute performance pairs a dark, Victorian twist on the Dickens tale with four holiday-themed cocktails.
