Since November 21, the 23rd annual Festival of Trees has raised money for the Boys and Girls Club with tree auctions, live music and holiday displays at Canyon Country Community Center—families enjoyed gingerbread house contests and a visit from Santa.

The event supports local kids' programs and wraps up later today.

From Dec. 6 to 14, the 39th annual Castaic Santa Float Tour will travel through town from 5:15 to 9 p.m. each night and accept canned food and used eyeglasses donations; organizers have launched a GoFundMe (to cover gasoline, candy canes, upkeep) and plan a green energy battery pack (to reduce gas costs and noise) to keep the tradition alive.

At the 23rd annual Festival of Trees at Canyon Country Community Center, dozens of decorated trees and festive displays raised funds for the Boys & Girls Club of SCV, which provides after school programs and a $60 tuition fee to support children while their families work.

The event ran on Friday and is open today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for community viewing + silent and live auctions adding extra support for club programs.

The company shipped 2,000 units to the U.S. military on Oct. 28th and will add local jobs (filling a supply gap) while supporting veterans and workers with disabilities.

Samuel Dixon Family Health Center expanded its partnership with Bridge to Home by adding preventative dental care to the on-site primary care that began in March — the new service is set to improve healthcare access for residents facing homelessness.

This move underscores the center’s long-term commitment to providing affordable care in Santa Clarita.
