- ➤ Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a motion to implement recommendations from an independent After Action Report on the January 2025 Eaton and Palisades Fires—efforts aimed at strengthening emergency response by updating evacuation policies, enhancing training, restructuring staffing, modernizing communications and bolstering public education. The board also directed county agencies to report progress every 60 to 90 days and tasked the Chief Executive Office with a 60-day feasibility and fiscal impact report on restructuring the Office of Emergency Management.
