- ➤ The Santa Clarita Valley Chamber of Commerce announced the 15th annual Salute to Patriots event that will honor local veterans on November 5th at 4:00 p.m. at The SCV Senior Center—Bella Vida. Nominations for the event will be accepted until October 19th. Hometown Station
- ➤ Santa Clarita finished several milestone projects this past year including a River of Lights ceremony at Central Park and the grand opening of Pioneer Oil Refinery Park. Next week residents will enjoy the renovated Old Orchard Park with a futsal demonstration while a new Rink Sports Pavilion now offers indoor sports and events for the community. - ➤ The Zonta Club of Santa Clarita Valley & Child & Family Center will host 'Unite Against Domestic Violence,' a free event at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 3 at the Child & Family Center on Centre Pointe Parkway to raise awareness and share resources on domestic violence.
