- ➤ Bridge to Home, Santa Clarita’s leading homeless services provider, announced that executive director Chris Najarro will leave on October 8 while the Board begins its search for a replacement+ she joined in 2017 to grow the shelter from a 60-bed winter facility to a 101-bed full-time operation, expanding feeding and case management programs. - ➤ On Sept 20th, the Castaic Animal Care Center hosted an 'emergency preparedness' adoption event to boost pet adoptions and reduce euthanasia, and Marva Moss—who has cared for many dogs—adopted a 9‑month‑old German shepherd named Dak while leaving Bella with a volunteer.
