ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A quarter-acre mulch fire dubbed Knight Fire broke out on the 23000 block of Coltrane Avenue in Newhall Saturday afternoon — firefighters arrived at 2:51 p.m. and no structures were threatened while the cause remained unknown. The Santa Clarita Valley Signal

- ➤ On Friday night at 10:22 p.m.—deputies responded to calls of a disturbance by about 100 teenagers at the In-n-Out in Saugus, and some teens jumped on a car, which led the restaurant to close its main lobby. The Santa Clarita Valley Signal
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Los Angeles County deployed two Canadian Super Scoopers on a 90-day lease to strengthen firefighting efforts during California's active wildfire season—stationed at Van Nuys Airport, the planes will help drop water quickly if extreme fire conditions develop. Hometown Station
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Judge Gary Micon ruled that Santa Clarita will pay just over $1.5 million in legal fees to mobile home park owner Kerry Seidenglanz—cutting the fee request from over $3 million—and ending a long-running dispute over solar panels at Canyon View Estates.
