On August 9, 2018, city and county officials broke ground on a new permanent Fire Station 104 at 26901 Golden Valley Road in Canyon Country.

The 11,000 square foot facility was built as a $14 million project after relocating firefighters from a temporary station and officially opened in June 2020 — it features apparatus space, a training room, a kitchen, and energy efficient systems.
