The free event will connect families with special needs to local support services and interactive activities — including Q&A sessions with special education representatives and on-site library card sign-ups — while offering free Jersey Mike’s subs to those who RSVP. - ➤ On August 9, 2018, city and county officials broke ground on a new permanent Fire Station 104 at 26901 Golden Valley Road in Canyon Country. The 11,000 square foot facility was built as a $14 million project after relocating firefighters from a temporary station and officially opened in June 2020 — it features apparatus space, a training room, a kitchen, and energy efficient systems.
