- ➤ On August 4, a man was arrested for felony DUI after he crashed an off-road vehicle near Rowher Flats, causing his female passenger to be flown by helicopter to Henry Mayo Hospital + firefighters freed him from the wreck. Hometown Station
- ➤ A Palmdale man was arrested this weekend on felony sexual assault charges linked to a March 3 incident—detectives tracked him to Santa Clarita and booked Luis Mejia, 41, into the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station. Hometown Station
- ➤ On Monday afternoon, deputies reported that two men at Sprouts parking lot in Valencia approached car owners by claiming tire issues (one suspect was described as in his early 20s) before stealing wallets from cars, and the suspects remain at large. The Santa Clarita Valley Signal
