- ➤ Today, the City of Santa Clarita partnered with the Castaic Animal Care Center to host a pet adoption day at Bridgeport Park (23521 Bridgeport Lane) from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., where adoption fees are waived except for a $20 fee for dog licenses. CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station arrested a 45-year-old parolee at a Stevenson Ranch hotel on July 10 after a search yielded one pound of narcotics including fentanyl, methamphetamine, and PCP (the suspect was wanted for assault on a peace officer), and they also arrested a 58-year-old man for possession for sale while citing a 26-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man for controlled substance possession. - ➤ On July 10, Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station deputies arrested a 45-year-old male parolee at a hotel on the 25300 block of The Old Road in Stevenson Ranch — his arrest was part of an investigation that dismantled a drug operation. SCVNews.com
