EDUCATION NEWS

  • Golden Oak Adult School will start its fall semester on Monday, Aug. 18, with online registration open for courses that help career advancement, personal enrichment, and academic achievement.   • Caltrans announced lane reductions on I-5 in the Castaic area as one lane will be closed on both northbound and southbound sides between Lake Hughes Road and 2 miles north of Templin Highway each day from Monday, July 21 to Friday, July 25 for pavement rehabilitation - drivers should allow extra travel time and drive carefully in the construction zone.  Hometown Station
  • The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors approved a motion to modernize film permits and cut red tape for the local film industry.
