- ➤ Shauntell Lowe, a first-generation student from College of the Canyons, will graduate with honors on June 5 after overcoming housing challenges in Santa Clarita. - ➤ L.A. County Fire Department crews are handling a 7-acre brush fire called the Cactus Fire west of I-5's southbound lanes north of Lake Hughes Road near Castaic. - ➤ SCV Water released its 2026 Annual Consumer Confidence Report, which shows water from 2025 met strict state and federal drinking water standards.
