- ➤ California Highway Patrol (CHP) responded to a traffic collision at the northbound I-5 and 14 freeway split just south of Balboa Boulevard in Valencia on May 30; the investigation continues. Hometown Station

- ➤ A former Acton dog trainer, Steffen Baldwin (44), was sentenced in March to 15½ years in Ohio prison on 32 felony charges including animal cruelty for his role in the death of at least 36 animals. Hometown Station
- ➤ Wendy Stinson, 60, from Acton was killed after being ejected from the front passenger seat of a 1994 Ford pickup that overturned in a collision with a 2005 Toyota on Crown Valley Road on May 28—drivers of both vehicles suffered minor injuries and alcohol and drugs were not involved. - ➤ A Saugus vocational nurse, Jessa Zayas, was arrested by FBI agents on Wednesday morning after a raid on her home—she is accused of filing over $2.5 million in false Medicare claims through two hospice providers. Hometown Station
