- ➤ Child and Family Center in partnership with Santa Clarita’s DFY Drug-Free Youth will host a free 'Power Up' event for local teens aged 11-17 on June 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at MB2 Entertainment, where participants will enjoy laser tag, mini golf, a free lunch, and workshops on healthy choices and self-confidence—space is limited so families should register soon. - ➤ On Thursday, a Rolex watch valued at $8,900 was reported stolen from Fast Fix Jewelry at Valencia Town Center (the owner said Ring camera and mall security video provided leads) and officials have not made any arrests as they continue to investigate. The Santa Clarita Valley Signal
- ➤ Santa Clarita deputies investigated two DUI crashes over the weekend — one involved a woman who lost control in Canyon Country, crashing into a light pole and wall before being taken to Henry Mayo Hospital in critical condition, while another incident in Saugus saw a gray Honda Civic wedged near a parked truck after a bottle of vodka was found at the scene.
