- ➤ Child & Family Center, in partnership with Drug-Free Youth, will host a free 'Power Up' event for local youth ages 11-17 on Friday, June 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at MB2 Entertainment in Santa Clarita; the event will offer activities like laser tag, mini golf, a free lunch and workshops designed to build decision-making skills and self-confidence. - ➤ Santa Clarita will host its annual Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 26 at Eternal Valley Memorial Park Mortuary in Newhall, where the public will honor military heroes. The event will include a Condor Squadron flyby—performance by the Santa Clarita Valley Concert Band and a keynote address by Maj. Gen. Matthew P.
