  • Families and children enjoyed interactive nature activities at the Placerita Canyon Nature Center open house held Saturday, May 9. The event featured wildlife displays, crafts, and booths from local agencies, offering a fun educational outing.  Hometown Station

CULTURE NEWS

  • On May 9, 1990, at Melody Ranch, Gene Autry’s horse Champion was laid to rest — marking a poignant moment in Santa Clarita history. Henry Crowell, who cared for Champion for over 30 years, shared how the cherished horse helped shape the ranch’s legacy.  Hometown Station
