  • SCV Sheriff’s Station will host a prescription drug take back event on Saturday, Apr. 25, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 26201 Golden Valley Road — a safe way for Santa Clarita residents to dispose of unused prescriptions and prevent accidental overdoses.  Hometown Station
  • On Monday, April 6, Rep. Whitesides announced a $1M federal investment to fund new PFAS treatment vessels for SCV Water that will remove dangerous chemicals from Santa Clarita’s groundwater supply. The funds will help reactivate two previously closed water treatment wells.  Hometown Station

  • The Master’s University men’s volleyball team beat the La Sierra Golden Eagles in Riverside on April 1 with Garrett Beall setting career records for blocks and kills. The Mustangs will play Soka University today at 6:00 p.m. in Aliso Viejo.  SCVNews.com
