- ➤ West Ranch remained undefeated in the Foothill League on Wednesday with a 12-8 win over Saugus despite injuries (including junior captain Grace Manning) and will play Orange Lutheran in a Tuesday road game (their first test after the win). Saugus will host Hart at 5 p.m. Hometown Station
- ➤ Valencia picked up a crucial late-season win in a back-and-forth game against Castaic, splitting the series one game apiece. The Vikings built a 7-6 lead before finishing strong, and Head Coach Tim Pennell said the effort (with eight different players scoring) could set a positive tone for the second half. Hometown Station
