- ➤ Canyon dropped its bid for back-to-back championships in an overtime semifinal loss to Salesian on Feb.21, when two free throws in the last 17 seconds gave Salesian a 61-58 win — Canyon has secured a CIF State playoff berth and will review film before March state postseason play.
