- ➤ On Thursday, Jan. 29, Chatsworth father Manuel Lorenzana Villegas (38) died when his van hit a snowplow on Interstate 70 in Colorado amid snowy conditions while transporting SC Lady Flyers players to a tournament; a few others were injured and the team continued playing. Hometown Station

- ➤ Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported that Austin Boyd Kirby (31), last seen in Castaic on Jan. 19 or 20, was found Saturday about 10 days after his disappearance and deputies thanked community members for their help. The Santa Clarita Valley Signal
