About this event
Explore the connection between food, culture and community with our hands-on Decolonizing Your Food workshop . In honor of Native American Heritage Month, join us in exploring the Food Justice Movement and its roots in Indigenous liberation movements. Not only will you learn how to cook a simple, nutritious meal that you can take home and enjoy, but you’ll also learn about food access through valuable campus resources, advocacy for equal access to healthy food and how to support community progress through the Food Justice Movement. There will even be a chance to win your own kitchen tools!
Space is limited. All are welcome to RSVP and discover how access to fresh, natural food serves as the foundation for health, sustainability and equality in our communities.
