The ALEX in Glendale - November 6

About this event

Locally based Patagonia Tango Company brings the magic of Buenos Aires to Glendale in Furia Tanguera-- a passionate show that combines the strength and elegance of Argentine tango with the passion and excitement of folklore traditions. In this multidisciplinary show, the dancers and singers unite under the rhythm of the Patagonia Orchestra led by Latin Grammy winning director Matias Piegari. Accompany the artists from nostalgia to euphoria as the all star cast weaves traditional storytelling through a modern setting. Watch the fury of tango come alive!

For the third year in a row, Patagonia Tango Company will grace the historic stage of the ALEX theatre with it’s internationally acclaimed show featuring talent direct from Argentina. Patagonia Tango Company’s latest production features 8 dancers, 2 folklorists, 4 musicians and the voice of two of Argentina’s hottest singers, in an unforgettable evening celebrating Argentina’s beloved patrimony, the Tango.

Patagonia Tango invites the Southern California community to celebrate Argentine culture with an unforgettable evening just like in the fabled Casas de Tango of Buenos Aires.

Directors of Patagonia Tango Compnay, Oscar Mansilla and Romina Rodríguez-Crosta, cultural ambassadors who create a haven for Argentine traditions in Los Angeles, have been based in Glendale, California since 2021. For years, Oscar and Romina have been synonymous with promoting traditional Argentine tango and folklore to the greater LA community, especially in Burbank and the San Fernando Valley. They are honored to share their love for tango on Glendale’s most prestigious stage at The Alex.
