About this event
Aerial Silks/Fabric 103: This class is designed for students ready to advance their Aerial Silks training through more challenging and dynamic skills while developing greater strength, technical control, and body awareness. Class begins with a comprehensive injury-prevention warm-up followed by silks-specific conditioning drills focused on body alignment, shoulder stability, and core strength. Students will expand their aerial vocabulary through more advanced locks, drops, slides, spins, and complex climbs while learning to connect individual skills into longer, more fluid sequences. Emphasis is placed on developing greater confidence and independence in the air while exploring how this simple yet versatile apparatus can be manipulated to create movement that is poetic, powerful, and dynamic. Prerequisites: Graduation from Fabric 102.
