Beginner Latin Ballroom

About this event

Beginner Latin Ballroom is a preparatory class designed for dancers who want to explore International Latin ballroom styles in a structured, approachable, and fun setting. This class introduces students to the fundamentals of Cha-Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, and Jive, focusing on basic steps, rhythm, posture, and movement quality. Students learn essential syllabus steps, proper technique, and foundational styling while developing musical awareness and confidence. Both solo movement and partner work are incorporated, allowing dancers to understand how Latin ballroom works individually and with others. Terminology, counts, and technique are clearly explained, making this class ideal for first-time ballroom dancers as well as those looking to refresh their basics. This class serves as a gateway to more advanced Latin ballroom training and is perfect for dancers interested in social dancing, performance, or future competitive opportunities. No partner is required, and classes are designed to be welcoming, educational, and energizing. Attire & Shoes: Comfortable dance attire.
