About this event
NOW BE HERE comes to the Night Temple!
A night of musical improvisation featuring some of L.A.'s finest musicians performing improvised compositions on the spot.
Hosted by Dustin Bookatz, Now Be Here began as a simple idea of communion and spontaneous adventure, wherein players spanning from pop to avante-garde and back again gathered to improvise freely at famed music haunt 1642.
Since then the collective has performed dozens of times and recorded several albums. With elements like cello, pedal steel, horns and featuring players that have contributed to the likes of Captain Beefheart, The Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, Sharon Von Etten, and countless more the audience is sure to be taken on a ride. To where exactly? Nobody knows.
