Mapping an Ecology of Mind with Obi Kaufmann | California Inside Out Book Signing - Nov. 13, 2026

About this event

Join California naturalist, artist, and author Obi Kaufmann for an in-person talk celebrating the release of his latest book, California Inside Out . Drawing from his decades of experience exploring and observing California, Kaufmann will share stories and reflections on the state’s landscapes, ecology, and natural history. The approximately one-hour talk will invite us to take a closer look at the places around us and consider how a deeper understanding of California’s natural world can shape the way we experience and care for it.

The talk will be followed by a Q&A with Kaufmann, then a book sale and signing, with copies of California Inside Out available for purchase.
