Mixed Toddler (La Crescenta)

About this event

Our Mixed Toddler classes bring together younger and older toddlers for a fun, social, and engaging learning experience. Children explore our “Keys of Knowledge” while developing cognitive, gross motor, and social-emotional skills through hands-on activities. Each class includes circle time, movement, child-directed exploration, and activities that encourage taking turns, sharing, teamwork, and kindness. Toddlers build with their hands, feel with their feet, and explore with their minds through puzzles, projects, community structures, and other age-appropriate challenges. As children grow, we introduce more opportunities to explore feelings and emotions, practice self-control, use “our words,” and develop independence. The curriculum is designed to meet children where they are while giving them opportunities to learn from and alongside their peers. Mixed Toddler classes are appropriate for confident walkers to 3 years old. No crawlers, please. Children should be able to walk without assistance. This class is at the La Crescenta location.
