WORKSHOP

November Session: BONNETS: HOW LADIES OF GOOD BREEDING ARE INDUCED TO MURDER by Jen Silverman

*This Session is now FULL. If you'd like to join the waitlist or audit the work, please email shelby@bethesdarep.com

The Rehearsal is a free monthly actor training lab led by a visiting director, and centered on one dramatic work — a play or musical chosen for its emotional, intellectual, and artistic challenge. This is not a class, nor is it focused on cold reading or casual scenes. Actors must come memorized and ready to work. You may be cast in a role that stretches you far beyond your comfort zone — age, gender, or archetype may not apply.

We respect your boundaries. Please communicate any limits in advance so our team can create a safe, respectful, and dynamic rehearsal space. Spots each month are limited to 10 actors and are first come, first served. If the workshop is full, you are still welcome to attend as an observer. For all inquiries, please contact our Resident Casting Director, Shelby Mumford, at shelby@bethesdarep.com .

Admission is free, but if you’re able, we ask you to make a tax-deductible donation to help Bethesda Rep sustain and grow programs like this one. Every contribution directly supports artists and our future productions.
