Manual Cinema Presents: Leonardo! A Wonderful Show About A Terrible Monster

About this event

Leonardo is a terrible monster; at least, he’s supposed to be. He tries so hard to be scary, but no matter what he does…he just isn’t. Everything changes when he meets Sam, the most scaredy-cat kid in the world. Will Leonardo finally manage to scare someone? Or will it be the start of an unlikely friendship? Created by Manual Cinema, this delightful family production brings Mo Willems’ beloved books Leonardo, the Terrible Monster and Sam, the Most Scaredy-Cat Kid in the Whole World to life using hundreds of illustrated paper puppets, book pages, furry monster puppets, and original music performed live. Watch the cinematic projection like a traditional film or look below to see the artists building the story in real time. There’s no wrong way to experience this whimsical world of monsters, courage, and an unlikely friendship!
