About this event
MiLakóta Yeló is a short Lakota-led documentary that intimately portrays a traditional Lakota grandmother on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation. Living memories of the land and language are spoken through personal memoirs, offering a quiet reflection on Lakota life, identity, and enduring matriarchal wisdom. This film is dedicated to the grandmothers who uphold our communities.
